Armin Cline, President of Health Systems for Covidien
Armin Cline, President of Health Systems, is responsible for Covidien-wide contracting activity with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Purchasing Coalitions, the Federal Government and other purchasing organizations representing aggregated U.S. Healthcare providers. Armin has 35 years of experience working for companies that manufacture and supply healthcare providers with products and services. He has been responsible for contracting activity with aggregated provider purchasing organizations, including National GPOs, IDNs and regional coalitions, since 1985. Armin joined Covidien in early 2002 and previously spent 18 years with American Hospital Supply and Baxter holding numerous roles of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and corporate sales/national accounts positions. He was also with Bergen Brunswig for three years where he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Sales, and worked for Neoforma in 2000 as Vice President Supplier Relations. Armin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Whitman College.
