Keith L. Callahan

Keith Callahan is a Senior Vice President for Dignity Health and oversees supply & pharmacy spend, purchased services, and IT contracting as well as the ongoing operations of the material management module for the system-wide ERP system.
Mr. Callahan commenced his career at Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, now BJC, and was part of the early development of GPO’s at the Consortium of Jewish Hospitals (CJH). In 1985 he became VP of Operations and CFO of CJH which changed its name to Premier Hospitals Alliance in 1986 and Premier in 1987.
Mr. Callahan then transitioned to CEO of a 400-bed Illinois hospital and EVP of the Hospital Sisters Healthcare System (HSHS). He joined Catholic Healthcare West in late 1999 and has progressed in title and responsibilities to a SVP at Dignity Health with oversight of $3.2 B of contracted spend.
Mr. Callahan completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and received his MBA and MHA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
