| ANAE to host breakout panel discussion during IDN Summit and Reverse Expo ANAE will host a session during the IDN Summit and Reverse Expo, on Tuesday September 23, 2014 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm. This breakout session will be exclusively for ANAE members and for those interested in joining. The panel will feature Ed Hardin, VP supply chain management for CHRISTUS Health (Irving, TX); Lisa Thakur, corporate VP of clinical and support services for Scripps Health (San Diego, CA); and Michael Langlois, VP of supply chain for Beaumont Health System (Royal Oaks, MI). They will participate in a panel discussion on what IDN supply chain leaders look for in – and practices of – best-in-class suppliers.
Ed Hardin has nearly 20 years of experience serving the healthcare provider industry. Prior to his current position at CHRISTUS, Hardin served as VP collaborative and organizational development for Resource Optimization & Innovation (ROi), the supply chain operating division of Mercy (Chesterfield, MO). Hardin is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a certified Materials & Resource Professional, and past-president of the St. Louis chapter of AHRMM. Lisa Thakur is corporate VP of clinical and support services for Scripps Health. She previously served as COO for Scripps Memorial Hospital (La Jolla, CA) for four years and as its CFO for nine years prior to that. Thakur is a CPA; a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and president of its San Diego chapter, San Diego Healthcare Leaders (SOHL); and a member of the HFMA National Advisory Council. Michael Langlois has served as VP of supply chain for Beaumont Health System since November 2010. Langlois has more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience, including various supply chain leadership roles for the former Saint John Health System (MI) and Ascension Health (St. Louis, MO).
