Skanska and H.J. Russell & Co. will partner to build the $151 million Grady Memorial Hospital Center for Advanced Surgical Services.
The 10-story, 576,960-square-foot building will be located adjacent to Grady’s main campus in downtown Atlanta at 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE, Atlanta, Ga., 30303, according to an announcement by the joint venture. Construction is slated to be complete by the end of the first quarter of 2022, it said.
The center will include 264,000 square feet of occupied space for several outpatient clinics, and it will house all outpatient surgeries, according to the joint venture’s news release.
The center is expected to increase Grady’s operating room capacity by 25% and its clinical capacity by 45%, according to the joint venture.
